Meet Dr. Andrew Brady

Deciding on a Chiropractic Career

While attending Ohio University, Dr. Brady first declared a criminal justice major. He played football at the university and soon had his life changed by a hip injury. While home on Christmas break, he visited the chiropractor who performed a full evaluation. The chiropractor asked, “Do you suffer from allergies?” Surprised, since he was there about his hip, Dr. Brady admitted that yes, he did. The chiropractor knew because the second bone in his neck was out of alignment. An adjustment had immediate effects, and Dr. Brady put away his nasal spray for good. It wasn’t long before Dr. Brady called his girlfriend (now his wife and our office manager) and said, “I think I want to go into the chiropractic profession.” He completed the exercise physiology program at Ohio University, then enrolled at Life University near Atlanta, Georgia to get his chiropractic education.

Restoring Your Quality of Life

Many of the people who seek out Dr. Brady are on different medications and suffering from numerous complaints but come to the chiropractor hoping to get help for low back pain. They soon find out that by correcting spinal misalignments and restoring their health with proper nutrition and stress management, they don’t need their medications and feel rejuvenated. They can start biking, playing pickleball and being present with their family again. “My goal is to help as many people as I possibly can.”

Gaining Knowledge

The continuing education Dr. Brady has undertaken concentrates on several aspects of healthy living, pediatric chiropractic, nutrition and integrative medicine. He has taken courses to become a Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner. Additionally, he is one of three Gonstead practitioners in Northeast Ohio and has studied this technique extensively. The teachings of Dr. James Chestnut have been particularly influential for Dr. Brady, helping him understand the importance of being proactive about health care instead of treating a problem once it has occurred. Dr. Brady is a member of the Ohio State Chiropractic Association.
